   They all sat up on the dais with the couple standing under a simple but elegant canopy.  The Rabbi chanted and gave a simple message, then they signed the wedding contract. 

  I improvised lightly in a minor key during the signing. 

 They didn't stomp on the glass but the Rabbi signified the end of the ceremony by reciting the seventh of the seven blessings.  

Then we went off to the Oak Ridge golf Club for a luncheon.  I played during the social time and then until the Salad was finished, then they invited me to eat with them.   I played again during the dessert.

 It was a beautifully appointed room with the table  elegantly laid. The wait staff gave excellent high class service and met needs before they were asked.

This was all done during the February Blizzard that had near zero visibility, yet everybody arrived safely and it was pretty to watch the snow come out of the sky in drifts. As if we were sitting in a giant snow globe.
